Volume 2 – Chapter Fourteen – Week 14

Creating and Experiencing Art

After a busy week, I decided to ease into a calmer Friday, immersing myself in the detailed painting of the mural. This project has unexpectedly become a social space, allowing me to reconnect with my colleagues and hear about their past month while I was away. I’ve come to appreciate how creative work can also be a shared experience conversations flow naturally, making the painting process feel effortless. The act of creating in such an open and collaborative atmosphere has made the mural more than just a design element it’s a part of the office’s beautiful history and connection to Maries’s timeless gardens

To fuel my inspiration, I spent the afternoon at the Picasso Museum in Antibes with a close friend. Surrounded by his paintings, photographs, and sculptures, I was reminded of how deeply art influences my creative energy. The French Riviera has a way of nurturing artistic expression, and being in a place so rich in culture recharges my creativity in ways I didn’t realize I needed. It was the perfect way to end my first week back, a reminder that creativity flourishes not just in work, but in moments of exploration and reflection.
