Creative Deadlines and Digital Storytelling at the Château

Monday began at a gentle pace, but it quickly evolved into a day full of creative pursuits. I started with a meaningful ongoing project, the continuation of my mural. This physical, hands-on project has been both challenging and meditative, and I’ve set myself a personal goal to complete it by Easter. Although it’s an ambitious deadline, I like working with internal pressure to keep myself focused and motivated. I enjoy adapting as I go, letting the process guide me while still aiming toward a meaningful finish.



When I felt I needed a shift, I transitioned into my weekly social media task for the Château’s private functions Instagram. This week’s post involved curating and composing a story that reflects the beauty and versatility of the space. It’s always a balancing act to maintain the account’s overall aesthetic while introducing fresh, engaging content that highlights not just the venue, but also the catering, entertainment, and all the unique possibilities the Château offers. It pushes my design thinking how to make visuals not just beautiful, but meaningful and inviting.
To end the day, I took a moment to reflect on everything I had accomplished. I sent a thank-you message to one of the artists for the earrings I had worn throughout the day. It was an unexpected source of motivation and joy. Small details like this remind me how creativity flows through work and what we choose to surround ourselves with. It was a quiet but fulfilling Monday, where I allowed myself to both create and appreciate
