Week Twenty-Eight Reflections
This week has been filled with an overwhelming sense of fulfilment the kind that comes after months of dedication, resilience and care. From the board meeting to countless design decisions involving the kitchens, gardens, chairs, villa and curtains, every corner of the Château has carried the imprint of thoughtful collaboration. What truly stood out was the power of teamwork not just in a professional sense, but in the way we supported one another like a family. Navigating between cultures, ideas and expectations required patience, agility and deep understanding, and it reminded me how much design is rooted in communication and trust.
As the week came to a close, I felt emotionally drained yet deeply grateful. The shift in pace with the Casa Cine pitching event in Cannes offered a refreshing change of atmosphere, but the purpose remained the same: helping others shine. Whether through art, design or storytelling, I’ve come to realise that creating spaces where people can thrive is at the heart of everything I do and that’s what makes the work truly meaningful.
