Waves, Wildflowers, and Warm Goodbyes
Workday: 26/02/2025
One of the many privileges of working at the Château is the ability to immerse myself in both creative work and breathtaking surroundings. My Wednesday began quietly with mural painting, a slow but steady process of bringing design to life. However, the day took an unexpected and delightful turn when we had the rare opportunity to have lunch in Mer Bleue, a private apartment within the Château, usually closed off to both visitors and staff. Despite its separation, it exuded the same charm and artistic essence that defines the Château. The space, with its stunning views and tranquil ambiance, made the meal feel reflective, almost like a moment suspended in time. It was a reminder of how fortunate I am to be in an environment that not only fosters creativity but also values moments of appreciation and growth.

The evening, however, brought a bittersweet farewell to two incredible artists, Stefanie and Cynthia. Their presence had been a reminder of the many forms that connection can take, friendship, mentorship, creative collaboration. It struck me how fortunate I am to be part of such a dynamic and supportive community, where inspiration is shared as freely as ideas. Though goodbyes are always difficult, I know this is not the end only a pause before new projects, future reunions, and collaborations that will continue to shape and influence my work.
