Chapter Seventeen: Week 17

Elevated Perspectives, Unveiling Hidden Spaces & Romantic Visions

Workday: 25/02/2025

Tuesday unfolded with unexpected laughter and a sense of deep appreciation. It was Cynthia’s last day working in her studio before she returns in February for her exhibition, so I took the opportunity to visit and see her work one final time in this setting. Her paintings, capturing the tranquility and love that Marie poured into the gardens—through the delicate presence of birds and white flowers—resonated deeply with me. There was something poetic about the way her art aligned with my own design approach, whether in my work on the office or the mural. Despite coming from completely different disciplines, we shared a common perspective and intention, which forged a strong and meaningful friendship, a connection that perhaps one day becomes a future artistic collaboration.

Wanting to make the most of the moment, we spontaneously decided to explore parts of the Château we had never ventured into before. Wandering through hidden spaces, we saw the estate from fresh perspectives, even finding ourselves looking at it from a bird’s-eye view. This spontaneous adventure added a new layer of appreciation to the Château, reinforcing how much there is still to learn from its architecture, landscapes, and hidden corners.

With this inspiration fueling me, I turned my attention to the Château’s private functions Instagram. Translating atmosphere into visual storytelling is another form of design—one where emotions and aesthetics merge to captivate an audience. This time, I focused on crafting a narrative that builds excitement for the 2025 wedding season, refining the language to evoke elegance and exclusivity. Jennifer was thrilled with the direction, and we are eager to develop the account further, ensuring that it reflects the beauty and grandeur of the Château while connecting with future clients in a compelling way.
