Brochures and Dinner Discussions
Designing the next open studio brochure has given me a chance to combine research, design, and storytelling. During this process, I carefully select images and refine bios to capture each artist’s identity while balancing layout and readability. This project allows me to refine my graphic design skills, a vital aspect of visual presentation. It’s exciting to explore new design tools and techniques that will help me convey each artist’s personality in a way that resonates with the visitors’ reading.
To end the day and the week, I feel grateful for the chance to join the artists at dinner not only to savour the warmth of a home-cooked meal but also to allow us to move past formalities and connect on a more personal level. This kind of interaction creates a comfortable space for genuine conversation, helping me understand each artist more deeply. This lays the groundwork for better collaboration and mutual understanding in the days to come.
