Sharing and Enriching
Workday 18/11/2024
After a meaningful weekend with my family, I returned to work, focusing on Instagram highlights and posts for the Canadian artists while managing both the private functions account and the original Château Instagram during Mathilde’s maternity leave. This added responsibility has challenged me to balance storytelling, consistency, and engagement across platforms. It’s been rewarding to connect artists’ work with a global audience, making their efforts visible and celebrated.
This experience developed my skills in storytelling, prioritisation, and maintaining consistency across platforms, deepening my appreciation for how social media supports artistic visibility and progress.
DPS Handbook – volunteer
I contributed to my DPS community by reviewing the handbook for next year’s students taking on gap-year internships. Reflecting on my own journey, I considered the challenges and confusion I faced at the start and identified ways to make the process clearer for others. By offering my perspective as a former student, I helped ensure the information is accurate, relatable, and supportive for those about to begin this transformative experience.
A Cosy Movie Night

To end the night, Dan Popa, one of the filmmakers in residence, shared his 2018 documentary Aquamarine Symphony with us. This remarkable piece, created over four years, transported us into the life of a sailor through stunning visuals and beautifully orchestrated soundscapes, with minimal reliance on text. The immersive experience inspired me to keep exploring how I can incorporate sensory elements into my work in the gardens, enhancing the connection and discovery through sound, texture, and atmosphere.
