Instagram Launch and Stories and Plans
Work day 21/10/2024
The week began with the arrival of a 3-D model of the gardens from one of my colleagues, which I immediately started exploring to test its accuracy. It was a bit challenging as I needed reference measurements to check if the model was to scale, leading me to measure multiple sections, from the Lover’s Garden to the front gate and courtyard. My findings showed that the model wasn’t to scale and was more focused on aesthetics. Although this was a minor setback for creating accurate 2-D plans, the model still offers great potential for Photoshop collages and renderings that can bring future design proposals to life.

Shortly after that discovery I moved on to other digital media which was the private functions Instagram page that I have been working on these weeks. I thoroughly prepared stories to be posted which would showcase the spaces that people could use for weddings, corporate events, personal events, etc. I had to make sure that the information was digestible as well as aesthetic which balance I achieved through talking and brainstorming with my colleagues and finally launching the page publicly.
Alongside my design work, I’m constantly staying on top of the artists’ schedules, which this week included organizing and setting out details for an upcoming field trip. Balancing multiple tasks like this has trained me to adapt quickly, ensuring my work aligns smoothly with others’ plans. It’s satisfying to know that my efforts make a difference in their schedules, and receiving acknowledgment for this coordination reinforces my dedication to both roles
